    Translated to the "Wishing dance" and the "Apsara dance," these classical styles have existed for many years. They are often performed to honor ancient traditions. The slow and mesmerizing Apsara dance depicts the idea that spirits entrap mortals with their beauty



     Cambodia's classical court music is considered a precious form of art. It was first established over 1000 years ago to act as a bridge between the natural and spirit worlds. Even despite laws against classical dance performances and the deaths of many Cambodian artists, the styles of their culture have continued to be passed down.
